LJ1 EXTREME D3/M (DEXRONIII/MERCON) TRANSMISSION FLUID is blended using only the finest quality, solvent refined, high viscosity index, paraffinic base stocks. Formulated with approved additives to provide excellent oxidation resistance, shear stability, frictional characteristics (SHIFT FEEL), seal compatibility and low temperature fluidity, (Flow at –40C).
LJ1 EXTREME ATF D3/M meets GM specification 6297-M and is approved for use in all GM cars with automatic transmission, and is recommended for automatic transmissions of Chrysler and American Motors cars, except for where owner’s manual require Type 7176 fluid. Recommended for Ford M2C138-CJ and M2C166-H automatic transmissions. May also be used in import vehicles recommending Dexron III/Mercon type fluid.
LJ1 EXTREME ATF D3/M meets requirements of Allison C-3/C-4 fluid and can be used in Allison powershift transmissions and other torque converter systems requiring this type fluid.
This product is not intended for use in transmission-final drives with wet-brake designs, nor as an engine crankcase oil.
